About This Position:
The Team Leader at Adams Handmade Soap is one of the most central and critical parts in our company.
Team Leaders are responsible for leading our front-line team members, who we call Process Innovators.
On the surface, it might look like our business is all about making soap and other great bath and body care products.

Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
What You'll Do:
Be empowered to engage your mind to solve problems, find and eliminate waste, and serve our customers and your fellow crew.
Receive regular training on Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement techniques and methodology.
Have ownership of your work.
Train new team members on manufacturing procedures, processes, and quality standards.
Operate light manufacturing equipment.
Coach and motivate team members to always believe there is a better way and to constantly improve with a focus on quality, adding value, and reducing waste and struggle.
Assess errors and defects and learn from your mistakes.
Assist in warehousing and inventory.
Serve as a guide, coach, and mentor to other team members.
Assist in the training and the development of a culture of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement.
Write and present employee performance reviews.
Lead the daily operations of one of our departments under the direction of Operations and in accordance with the policies found in our company handbook.
Maintain a safe and productive workplace.
Clean, organize, and improve your workspace.
